Disassembly (from 07/2011)

EXTERIOR PANELS / TRIM: FRONT BUMPER (for Hatchback with Sport Package): DISASSEMBLY

1. REMOVE HOOD TO FRONT END PANEL SEAL

(a) Remove the 4 clips.





(b) While peeling off the double-sided adhesive tape, remove the hood to front end panel seal.

2. REMOVE RADIATOR GRILLE

(a) Remove the 3 clips.





(b) Disengage the 12 claws, guide and remove the radiator grille.





3. REMOVE RADIATOR GRILLE (OR FRONT PANEL) EMBLEM

(a) Disengage the 4 claws, 2 guides and remove the radiator grill (or front panel) emblem.





4. REMOVE FRONT BUMPER LOWER COVER

(a) Disengage the 2 claws and remove the front bumper lower cover.





5. REMOVE LOWER NO. 1 RADIATOR GRILLE

(a) Remove the 2 screws.





(b) Disengage the 14 claws and remove the lower No. 1 radiator grille.

6. REMOVE RADIATOR GRILLE LOWER MOULDING

(a) Remove the 6 screws.





(b) Disengage the 5 claws and remove the radiator grille lower moulding.

7. REMOVE FOG LIGHT ASSEMBLY LH Removal (from 07/2011)

8. REMOVE FOG LIGHT ASSEMBLY RH

HINT
Use the same procedure as for the LH side.

9. REMOVE FOG LIGHT COVER LH

(a) Disengage the 5 claws and remove the fog light cover.





10. REMOVE FOG LIGHT COVER RH

Use the same procedure as for the LH side.

11. REMOVE HEADLIGHT ASSEMBLY LH Removal (from 07/2011)

12. REMOVE HEADLIGHT ASSEMBLY RH

HINT
Use the same procedure as for the LH side.

13. REMOVE FRONT BUMPER SIDE RETAINER LH

(a) Disengage the 2 claws and remove the front bumper side retainer.





14. REMOVE FRONT BUMPER SIDE RETAINER RH

HINT
Use the same procedure as for the LH side.

15. SEPARATE THERMISTOR ASSEMBLY

(a) Disengage the 2 clamps and remove the thermistor.





16. REMOVE RADIATOR SUPPORT EXTENSION LH

(a) Disengage the 2 claws and remove the radiator support extension.





17. REMOVE RADIATOR SUPPORT EXTENSION RH

HINT
Use the same procedure as for the LH side.

18. REMOVE NO. 2 RADIATOR SIDE AIR SEAL

(a) Disengage the 2 claws and remove the radiator side air seal.





19. REMOVE NO. 1 RADIATOR SIDE AIR SEAL

HINT
Use the same procedure as for the No. 2 side.

20. REMOVE FRONT BUMPER REINFORCEMENT

(a) Disengage the 2 clamps and disconnect the wire harness.





(b) Remove the 6 bolts.





(c) Remove the 4 nuts and the front bumper reinforcement.

21. REMOVE FRONT NO. 1 BUMPER STONE DEFLECTOR BRACKET

(a) Remove the 2 nuts and the front No. 1 bumper stone deflector bracket.





HINT
Use the same procedure as for the opposite side.

22. SEPARATE WINDSHIELD WASHER JAR ASSEMBLY (for Cold Area Specification Vehicles)

(a) Remove the bolt and separate the windshield washer jar.





23. SEPARATE WINDSHIELD WASHER JAR ASSEMBLY (except Cold Area Specification Vehicles)

(a) Remove the bolt and separate the windshield washer jar.





24. REMOVE FRONT SIDE MEMBER BRACKET SUB-ASSEMBLY LH

(a) Remove the 4 bolts.





(b) Disengage the 2 guides and remove the front side member bracket.

25. REMOVE FRONT SIDE MEMBER BRACKET SUB-ASSEMBLY RH
