THEFT DETERRENT / KEYLESS ENTRY: ENGINE HOOD COURTESY SWITCH (for Hatchback): INSTALLATION

1. INSTALL ENGINE HOOD COURTESY SWITCH (HOOD LOCK ASSEMBLY)

(a) Apply MP grease to the sliding areas of the engine hood courtesy switch (hood lock assembly).





(b) Connect the connector.

(c) Connect the hood lock control cable.

(d) Install the engine hood courtesy switch (hood lock assembly) with the 3 bolts.

Torque : 7.5 Nm (76 kgf-cm, 66 in-lbf)

2. ADJUST HOOD SUB-ASSEMBLY Adjustments
