C2176/76 - Receiver Error

DESCRIPTION

The signals are transmitted to the tire pressure warning ECU and receiver on the body as radio waves.





INSPECTION PROCEDURE

NOTICE:
* When replacing the tire pressure warning ECU and receiver, read the transmitter IDs stored in the old ECU using the Techstream and write them down before removal.
* It is necessary to perform initialization Programming and Relearning after registration Registration (from 07/2011) of the transmitter IDs into the tire pressure warning ECU and receiver if the ECU has been replaced.
* When replacing the tire pressure warning ECU and receiver on vehicles equipped with the wireless door lock control system, be sure to perform Registration of Recognition Code to register the transmitter IDs after ECU replacement Registration (from 07/2011).

PROCEDURE

1. CHECK DTC OUTPUT (C2176/76)

(a) Clear the DTCs Reading and Clearing Diagnostic Trouble Codes.

(b) Turn the ignition switch off.

(c) Turn the ignition switch to ON and check for DTCs Reading and Clearing Diagnostic Trouble Codes.

OK:

DTC C2176/76 is not output.

NG -- REPLACE TIRE PRESSURE WARNING ECU AND RECEIVER Removal (from 07/2011)
