Tire Pressure Warning System (for Sedan)

DESCRIPTION

This DTC is stored when, due to an ECU internal data error, data cannot be referenced.





INSPECTION PROCEDURE

NOTICE:
* When replacing the tire pressure warning ECU, read the IDs stored in the old ECU using a Techstream and write them down before removal.
* It is necessary to perform registration of the transmitter IDs into the tire pressure warning ECU after the ECU has been replaced.

PROCEDURE

1. CLEAR DTC

(a) Turn the ignition switch off.

(b) Connect a Techstream to the DLC3.

(c) Turn the ignition switch to ON and turn the Techstream on.

(d) Enter the following menus: Chassis / Tire Pressure Monitor / Trouble Codes /

(e) Clear the DTCs.

NEXT -- Continue to next step.

2. CHECK FOR DTC

HINT
After clearing DTCs, turn the ignition switch off and ON once.

(a) Turn the ignition switch off.

(b) Connect a Techstream to the DLC3.

(c) Turn the ignition switch to ON and turn the Techstream on.

(d) Enter the following menus: Chassis / Tire Pressure Monitor / Trouble Codes /

(e) Check for DTCs.
