DESCRIPTION

The circuit is used to send vehicle information from the main body ECU (multiplex network body ECU) to the skid control ECU (brake actuator assembly) through the CAN communication system.





INSPECTION PROCEDURE

PROCEDURE

1. CHECK PART NUMBER (ECM AND BRAKE ACTUATOR ASSEMBLY)

(a) Check that the proper ECM is installed.

2. CHECK PART NUMBER (MAIN BODY ECU AND BRAKE ACTUATOR ASSEMBLY)

(a) Check that the proper main body ECU (multiplex network body ECU) is installed.

B -- REPLACE MAIN BODY ECU (MULTIPLEX NETWORK BODY ECU) Removal (from 07/2011)
A -- Continue to next step.

3. CHECK BRAKE ACTUATOR ASSEMBLY (SKID CONTROL ECU)

(a) Check if the skid control ECU (brake actuator assembly) had been replaced before the DTC was recorded.

B -- PERFORM TEST MODE PROCEDURE

4. RECONFIRM DTC

(a) Clear the DTC Anti-Lock Brake System (for Hatchback).

(b) Check if the same DTC is recorded Anti-Lock Brake System (for Hatchback).
