B1451 - Compressor Solenoid Circuit

DESCRIPTION

In this circuit, the compressor with pulley assembly receives a refrigerant compression demand signal from the air conditioning amplifier assembly.

Based on this signal, the compressor with pulley assembly changes the amount of compressor output.

INSPECTION PROCEDURE

PROCEDURE

1. READ VALUE USING TECHSTREAM

(a) Connect the Techstream to the DLC3.

(b) Turn the ignition switch to ON.

(c) Turn the Techstream on.

(d) Enter the following menus: Body Electrical / Air Conditioner / Data List.

(e) According to the display on the Techstream, read the Data List.

OK:

The display is as specified in the normal condition column.

2. CHECK FOR DTC

(a) Clear the DTCs DTC Check / Clear (from 07/2011).

(b) Check for DTCs DTC Check / Clear (from 07/2011).

OK:

B1451 is not output

NG -- REPLACE AIR CONDITIONING AMPLIFIER ASSEMBLY Removal (from 07/2011)

OK -- USE SIMULATION METHOD TO CHECK Electronic Circuit Inspection Procedure

3. INSPECT COMPRESSOR WITH PULLEY ASSEMBLY

(a) Inspect the compressor with pulley assembly Inspection (from 07/2011).

NG -- REPLACE COMPRESSOR WITH PULLEY ASSEMBLY Removal (from 07/2011)
OK -- Continue to next step.

4. CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (COMPRESSOR WITH PULLEY ASSEMBLY - AIR CONDITIONING AMPLIFIER ASSEMBLY)

(a) Disconnect the C64 compressor with pulley assembly connector.

(b) Disconnect the D130 air conditioning amplifier assembly connector.

(c) Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

Standard Resistance:





NG -- REPAIR OR REPLACE HARNESS OR CONNECTOR
OK -- Continue to next step.

5. CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (COMPRESSOR WITH PULLEY ASSEMBLY - BODY GROUND)

(a) Disconnect the C64 compressor with pulley assembly connector.





(b) Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.
