U660E AUTOMATIC TRANSAXLE: TRANSMISSION CONTROL CABLE ASSEMBLY: REMOVAL

1. REMOVE INSTRUMENT PANEL REINFORCEMENT ASSEMBLY WITH AIR CONDITIONER UNIT ASSEMBLY

2. REMOVE CENTER AIR BAG SENSOR ASSEMBLY Removal

3. REMOVE COOL AIR INTAKE DUCT SEAL Removal

4. REMOVE NO. 2 AIR CLEANER INLET Removal

5. REMOVE AIR CLEANER CAP WITH AIR CLEANER HOSE Removal

6. REMOVE AIR CLEANER CASE Removal

7. REMOVE NO. 1 AIR CLEANER INLET Removal

8. REMOVE TRANSMISSION CONTROL CABLE ASSEMBLY

(a) Turn over the carpet, remove the 2 bolts and disconnect the transmission control cable assembly.





(b) Remove the nut from the control shaft lever.





(c) Disconnect the transmission control cable assembly from the control shaft lever.

(d) Remove the clip and disconnect the transmission control cable assembly from the No. 1 transmission control cable bracket.





(e) Disconnect the transmission control cable assembly from the transmission floor shift assembly.





(f) Pull out the transmission control cable assembly from the body.
