Reassembly

U760E AUTOMATIC TRANSAXLE: SHIFT LEVER: REASSEMBLY

1. INSTALL NO. 2 POSITION INDICATOR SLIDE COVER (for TMC Made)

(a) Install the No. 2 position indicator slide cover to the position indicator slide cover.

2. INSTALL POSITION INDICATOR SLIDE COVER (for TMC Made)

(a) Install the position indicator slide cover to the lower position indicator housing.





3. INSTALL LOWER POSITION INDICATOR HOUSING (for TMC Made)

(a) Engage the 4 claws to install the lower position indicator housing to the shift lock control unit.





NOTICE:
Make sure that the claws are firmly engaged.

4. INSTALL SHIFT LOCK CONTROL ECU SUB-ASSEMBLY (for TMMK Made)

(a) Install the shift lock control ECU sub-assembly to the shift lock control unit.





(b) Connect the shift lock solenoid connector to the shift lock control ECU sub-assembly.

5. INSTALL INDICATOR LIGHT WIRE SUB-ASSEMBLY

(a) Install the position indicator light bulb to the indicator light wire sub-assembly.

(b) Install the position indicator light cap to the position indicator light bulb.

(c) Insert the indicator light wire into the shift lock control unit while aligning the groove on the unit with the indicator light guide key.





(d) Install the indicator light guide by turning it clockwise until it securely locks.

(e) Install the indicator light wire to the clamp on the shift lock control unit.

(f) Connect terminals (4) and (8) of the indicator light wire.





(g) Push the stopper.
