Front Passenger Side - Side Airbag Sensor Malfunction - Airbag System (for TMC Made)
SUPPLEMENTAL RESTRAINT SYSTEM: AIRBAG SYSTEM (for TMC Made): B1625/22: Front Passenger Side - Side Airbag Sensor Malfunction
B1625/22 - Front Passenger Side - Side Airbag Sensor Malfunction
DESCRIPTION
The side airbag sensor RH consists of the safing sensor, the diagnostic circuit, the lateral deceleration sensor, etc.
If the center airbag sensor assembly receives signals from the lateral deceleration sensor, it determines whether the SRS should be activated.
DTC B1625/22 is recorded when a malfunction is detected in the side airbag sensor RH.

INSPECTION PROCEDURE
PROCEDURE
1. CHECK DTC
(a) Turn the ignition switch on (IG), and wait for at least 60 seconds.
(b) Clear the DTCs stored in the memory Airbag System (for TMC Made).
(c) Turn the ignition switch off.
(d) Turn the ignition switch on (IG), and wait for at least 60 seconds.
(e) Check the DTCs Airbag System (for TMC Made).
OK:
DTC B1625/22 is not output.
