How To Proceed With Troubleshooting (to 12/2010)





INTERIOR: REAR SUNSHADE SYSTEM: HOW TO PROCEED WITH TROUBLESHOOTING

Use the following procedures to troubleshoot the rear sunshade system.

1. VEHICLE BROUGHT TO WORKSHOP

NEXT -- Continue to next step.

2. INSPECT BATTERY VOLTAGE

Standard voltage:

11 to 14 V

If the voltage is below 11 V, recharge or replace the battery before proceeding.

3. CHECK FOR DIAGNOSTICS TROUBLE CODE OF SFI SYSTEM

(a) Use Techstream to check for DTC P0705.

4. INSPECT COMMUNICATION FUNCTION OF CAN COMMUNICATION SYSTEM

(a) Use Techstream to check if the CAN communication system is functioning normally.

5. INSPECT COMMUNICATION FUNCTION OF MULTIPLEX COMMUNICATION SYSTEM
