TIRE AND WHEEL: TIRE PRESSURE WARNING ECU: REMOVAL
NOTICE:
Before removing the tire pressure warning ECU, read the registered transmitter IDs of all wheels and write them down to use for re-registration of transmitter IDs Registration (from 12/2010).
1. DISCONNECT CABLE FROM NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL
CAUTION:
Wait at least 90 seconds after disconnecting the cable from the negative (-) battery terminal to prevent airbag and seat belt pretensioner activation.
NOTICE:
When disconnecting the cable, some systems need to be initialized after the cable is reconnected Repair Instruction - Initialization.
2. REMOVE COWL SIDE TRIM SUB-ASSEMBLY RH Removal (from 12/2010)
3. REMOVE FRONT DOOR SCUFF PLATE RH Removal (from 12/2010)
4. REMOVE INSTRUMENT PANEL UNDER COVER SUB-ASSEMBLY NO. 2 Removal (from 12/2010)
5. REMOVE INSTRUMENT PANEL FINISH PANEL LOWER RH Removal (from 12/2010)
6. REMOVE TIRE PRESSURE WARNING ECU
(a) Disconnect the connector from the tire pressure warning ECU.
(b) Remove the screw and the tire pressure warning ECU.
