Installation (to 12/2010)

BRAKE CONTROL: STEERING ANGLE SENSOR: INSTALLATION

1. INSTALL STEERING ANGLE SENSOR

(a) Install the steering angle sensor to the spiral cable.





NOTICE:
* Engage the claws securely.
* Do not damage the claws.

2. INSPECT SPIRAL CABLE Testing and Inspection

3. PLACE FRONT WHEELS FACING STRAIGHT AHEAD

4. INSTALL SPIRAL CABLE Installation (to 12/2010)

5. CENTER SPIRAL CABLE Installation (to 12/2010)

6. INSTALL STEERING WHEEL ASSEMBLY Installation (to 12/2010)

7. INSTALL STEERING PAD Installation (to 12/2010)

8. INSPECT STEERING PAD Installation (to 12/2010)

9. INSPECT STEERING WHEEL CENTER POINT

10. CONNECT CABLE TO NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL

NOTICE:
* When disconnecting the cable, some systems need to be initialized after the cable is reconnected Repair Instruction - Initialization.
* Make sure that the cable has been disconnected from the battery terminal for at least 2 seconds before reconnecting the cable.
* Connect the cable to the negative (-) battery terminal with the front wheels facing straight ahead.

11. INSPECT SRS WARNING LIGHT Installation (to 12/2010)
