1. DATA LIST

HINT
Using Techstream Data List allows switch, sensor, actuator and other item values to be read without removing any parts. Reading the Data List early in the troubleshooting process is one way to shorten labor time.

(a) Connect Techstream (with CAN VIM) to the DLC3.

(b) Turn the ignition switch on (IG).

(c) Turn the tester on.

(d) Enter the following menus:

Select: Body Electrical / Main Body or Body No. 5 / Data List /

(e) According to the display on the tester, read the "Data List".

2. ACTIVE TEST

HINT
Performing Techstream Active Test allows relay, VSV, actuator and other items to be operated without removing any parts. Performing the Active Test early in the troubleshooting process is one way to shorten labor time. The Data List can be displayed during the Active Test.

(a) Connect Techstream (with CAN VIM) to the DLC3.

(b) Turn the ignition switch on (IG).

(c) Turn the tester on.

(d) Enter the following menus:

Select: Body Electrical / Main Body, Body No. 5 or Immobiliser / Active Test /

(e) According to the display on the tester, perform the Active Test.
