LIGHTING (EXT): HIGH INTENSITY DISCHARGE HEADLIGHT BULB: INSTALLATION

1. INSTALL DISCHARGE HEADLIGHT BULB

(a) Lock the set spring to install the discharge headlight bulb in the direction indicated by the arrow shown in the illustration.





NOTICE:
Do not touch the bulb glass.

(b) Turn the light control ECU socket in the direction indicated by the arrow shown in the illustration to connect it.





2. INSTALL HEADLIGHT GASKET

(a) Install a new headlight gasket.

3. INSTALL NO. 1 HEADLIGHT BACK COVER

(a) Engage the 2 guides.





(b) Lock the set spring to install the No. 1 headlight back cover as shown in the illustration.

4. CONNECT CABLE TO NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL

NOTICE:
When disconnecting the cable, some systems need to be initialized after the cable is reconnected Repair Instruction - Initialization.
