SEAT BELT: FRONT SEAT OUTER BELT ASSEMBLY (for Coupe):

REMOVAL

HINT:
- The installation procedures are the removal procedures in reverse order. However, only installation procedures requiring additional information are included.
- Use the same procedures for the RH side and LH side.
- A bolt without a torque specification is shown in the standard bolt chart (Standard Bolt - Specified Torque For Standard Bolts).

1. REMOVE REAR SEAT CUSHION ASSEMBLY (Removal)

2. REMOVE REAR SEATBACK ASSEMBLY LH (Removal)

3. REMOVE REAR SEATBACK HINGE SUB-ASSEMBLY LH (Removal)

4. REMOVE FRONT DOOR SCUFF PLATE LH (Removal)

5. REMOVE QUARTER TRIM PANEL ASSEMBLY FRONT LH
6. REMOVE FRONT SEAT OUTER BELT ASSEMBLY LH

CAUTION:
- Removal of the seat belt pretensioner must be started at least 90 seconds after the ignition switch is turned OFF and the negative (-) terminal cable is disconnected from the battery.
- Carefully read the notices for the "pretensioner" in the SRS airbag system section and the front seat outer belt section (Service Precautions).





(a) Disconnect the pretensioner connector, as shown in the illustration.





(b) Remove the seat belt cover.
(c) Remove the 4 bolts and outer belt.
