A246E AUTOMATIC TRANSAXLE: ONE-WAY CLUTCH: DISASSEMBLY

DISASSEMBLY

1. INSPECT 1 WAY CLUTCH NO.2 (One-Way Clutch)

2. DISCONNECT REAR PLANETARY GEAR ASSEMBLY
(a) Disconnect the 1 way clutch No. 2 from the rear planetary gear assembly.
3. REMOVE 1 WAY CLUTCH OUTER RACE HOLE SNAP RING





(a) Using a screwdriver, remove the 1 way clutch outer race snap ring and retainers from the 1 way clutch outer race.
4. REMOVE 1 WAY CLUTCH NO.2 HOLE SNAP RING
(a) Using a screwdriver, remove the 2 1 way clutch No. 2 hole snap rings and retainers from the 1 way clutch outer race.
5. REMOVE 1 WAY CLUTCH NO.2





(a) Remove the 1 way clutch No. 2 from the 1 way clutch outer race.
