INSTALLATION

1. INSTALL FRONT PASSENGER AIRBAG ASSEMBLY





(a) Install the front passenger airbag assembly with the bolt and the 2 nuts.
Bolt - Torque: 20 Nm (204 kgf-cm, 15 ft-lbf)
2. CONNECT FRONT PASSENGER AIRBAG ASSEMBLY CONNECTOR





(a) Connect the connector to the front passenger airbag assembly.

NOTE: When handling the airbag connector, take care not to damage the airbag wire harness.

3. INSTALL GLOVE COMPARTMENT DOOR ASSEMBLY (Installation)

4. CONNECT CABLE TO NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL
5. PERFORM INITIALIZATION
(a) Perform initialization.

HINT: Some systems need initialization when disconnecting the cable from the negative battery terminal.

6. INSPECT SRS WARNING LIGHT
(a) Inspect the SRS warning light (Diagnosis System).
