BRAKE CONTROL: BRAKE ACTUATOR:

COMPONENTS

















REMOVAL

1. DRAIN BRAKE FLUID

NOTE: Wash brake fluid off immediately if it adheres to any painted surface.

2. REMOVE FRONT WHEEL RH
3. REMOVE FRONT FENDER LINER RH
4. REMOVE FRONT BUMPER COVER
(a) Remove the front bumper cover (Removal).
5. REMOVE LH HEADLIGHT ASSEMBLY
(a) Remove the LH headlight assembly (Removal).
6. REMOVE WINDSHIELD WASHER JAR ASSEMBLY
7. REMOVE BRAKE ACTUATOR WITH BRACKET





(a) Disconnect the actuator connector.
(b) Using SST, disconnect the 6 brake tubes from the actuator with bracket.
SST: 09023-00101





(c) Use tags or make a memo to identify the places to reconnect.





(d) Remove the 2 bolts, nut and the actuator with bracket.

NOTE: Be careful not to damage the brake tubes and wire harness.

8. REMOVE BRAKE ACTUATOR ASSEMBLY
(a) Remove the 2 nuts and brake actuator from the bracket.
