Rear Seat Assembly

DISASSEMBLY

1. REMOVE REAR SEATBACK BOARD LH
a. Remove the 4 screws and rear seatback board LH.
b. Remove the 2 bolts and rear seatback LH.






2. REMOVE REAR SEATBACK BOARD RH

HINT: Use the same procedures described for the LH side.

3. REMOVE SEPARATE TYPE REAR SEATBACK COVER LH
a. Remove the 2 headrest supports.
b. Remove the rear seatback lock release button.
c. Remove the rear seatback stop button grommet.
d. Remove the hog rings and rear seatback cover.

4. REMOVE SEPARATE TYPE REAR SEATBACK COVER RH
a. Remove the 2 headrest supports.
b. Remove the rear seatback lock release button.
c. Remove the rear seatback stop button grommet.
d. Using a screwdriver, remove the rear seat shoulder belt cover.
e. Remove the bolt and rear seat lap type belt center.
f. Remove the hog rings and rear seatback cover.

5. REMOVE SEPARATE TYPE REAR SEAT CUSHION COVER LH
a. Remove the hog rings and rear seat cushion cover LH.

6. REMOVE SEPARATE TYPE REAR SEAT CUSHION COVER RH
a. Remove the hog rings and rear seat cushion cover RH.

7. REMOVE REAR SEATBACK LOCK ASSEMBLY LH
a. Remove the 2 bolts and rear seatback lock LH.

8. REMOVE REAR SEATBACK LOCK ASSEMBLY RH
a. Remove the 2 bolts and rear seatback lock RH.

REASSEMBLY

1. INSTALL REAR SEATBACK LOCK ASSEMBLY LH
a. Install the rear seatback lock LH with the 2 bolts.

2. INSTALL REAR SEATBACK LOCK ASSEMBLY RH
a. Install the rear seatback lock RH with the 2 bolts.

3. INSTALL SEPARATE TYPE SEAT CUSHION COVER LH
a. Install the seat cushion pad LH to the seat cushion frame LH.
b. Using hog ring pliers, install the seat cushion cover LH with new hog rings.

NOTICE:
- Be careful not to damage the cover.
- When installing the hog rings, take care to minimize wrinkles as much as possible.

4. INSTALL SEPARATE TYPE SEAT CUSHION COVER RH

HINT: Use the same procedures described for the LH side.

5. INSTALL SEPARATE TYPE SEAT BACK COVER LH
a. Install the seatback pad RH to the seatback frame RH.
b. Using hog ring pliers, install the seatback cover RH with new hog rings.

NOTICE:
- Be careful not to damage the cover.
- When installing the hog rings, take care to minimize wrinkles as much as possible.

c. Install the rear seat lap type belt center with the bolt.

Torque: 41 N.m (420 kgf.cm, 30 ft.lbf)

d. Install the rear seat shoulder belt cover.
e. Install the rear seatback stop button grommet.
f. Install the rear seatback lock release button.
g. Install the 2 headrest supports.

6. INSTALL SEPARATE TYPE SEAT BACK COVER RH
a. Install the seatback pad LH to the seatback frame LH.
b. Using hog ring pliers, install the seatback cover LH with new hog rings.

NOTICE:
- Be careful not to damage the cover.
- When installing the hog rings, take care to minimize wrinkles as much as possible.

c. Install the rear seatback stop button grommet.
d. Install the rear seatback lock release button.
e. Install the 2 headrest supports.

7. INSTALL REAR SEATBACK BOARD LH
a. Install the rear seatback LH with the 2 bolts.

Torque: 18 N.m (185 kgf.cm, 13 ft.lbf)

b. Install the rear seatback board LH with the 4 screws.

8. INSTALL REAR SEATBACK BOARD RH
