Manual Shifting Test
MANUAL SHIFTING TESTHINT: With this test, whether the transaxle has an electrical problem or a mechanical problem can be determined.
a. Disconnect the solenoid wire.
b. Inspect the manual driving operation.
Check that the shift and gear positions correspond with the table.
While driving, shift the shift lever through the L, 2 and D positions. Check that the gear change corresponds to the shift position.
HINT: If the L, 2 and D position and gear positions are difficult to position and also to distinguish, conduct the above road test again. If any abnormality is found in the above test, the problem is in the transaxle itself.
c. Connect the solenoid wire.
d. Erase the DTC
