Seat Cushion: Testing and Inspection

INSPECT SEAT CUSHION CONTINUITY
a. Heat the 2 thermostats with a light and check that there is no continuity above 45 °C (113 °F) between terminal 1 and 2.
b. Cool the 2 thermostats below 15 °C (59 °F) between terminals 1 and 2.
c. Check that there is continuity between terminals 1 and 3.
If continuity is not as specified, replace the seat heater.




INSPECT SEAT BACK CONTINUITY
Check that there is continuity between terminals 1 and 2.
If continuity is not as specified, replace the seat back pad.
