Power Door Lock Actuator: Testing and Inspection

DOOR LOCK MOTOR INSPECTION







INSPECT MOTOR OPERATION
1. Connect the positive (+) lead from the battery to terminal 4 and the negative (-) lead to terminal 5, the check that the door lock link moves to UNLOCK position.
2. Reverse the polarity, the check that the door lock link moves to LOCK position.

If operation is not as specified. replace the door lock assembly.
