Seat Belt Reminder Buzzer: Testing and Inspection

INSPECT INTEGRATION RELAY OPERATION







1. Connect the positive (+) lead from the battery to terminals 1 and 7.
2. Connect the terminal 7 to terminal 9 through a 3.4 W test bulb.
3. Connect the negative (-) lead from the battery to terminal 10.







4. Check that the bulb lights and the chime sounds for 4 - 8 seconds.
5. Return to step (a). and operate the chime again.
6. Connect the negative (-) lead from the battery to terminal 8.
7. Check that the chime stops sounding.


HINT: Check the chime within a period of 4 - 8 seconds. If operation is not as specified, replace the relay.
