Parking Brake Pedal: Adjustments

NOTE: Before adjusting the Parking Brake, make sure that the Rear Brake Shoe clearance has been adjusted.

1. Brake cover.
a. Separate Seat: Remove the console box.
b. Bench Seat: Remove the hole cover.

Tightening Lock Nut To Correct Torque:

2. Loosen the lock nut and turn the adjusting nut until the lever travel is correct.
3. Tighten the lock nut.
- Torque: 13 Nm (9 ft. lbs.)
4. Brake cover.
a. Separate Seat: Install the console box.
b. Bench Seat: Install the hole cover.
