Avalon (Glass Printed Antenna)

Refer to the following to check for antenna cable continuity.

Terminal Connection Normal Condition

(1) - (2) Continuity

(3) - (4) No Continuity

NOTE:
The sub-antenna cord does not have continuity because it includes an in-line capacitor.





NOTE:
Measure continuity from center contact to center contact as shown in the illustration.

Refer to the following illustrations to check proper grounding of the antenna cable, matching module, and choke coil.





1. Check for a good antenna cable ground at the center console area.





2. Check for a good matching module ground at the right C-pillar area.





3. Check for a good choke coil ground at the rear left seat back area.
