Exhaust Gas Control Valve Inspection

INSPECTION OF THE EXHAUST EXHAUST GAS CONTROL VALVE



1. Disconnect the air hose from the actuator.
2. Using Special Service Tool (SST# 09992-00241), apply approx. 49 kPa (7.1 psi) of pressure to the actuator.
3. Check that the actuator push rod moves.
4. Reconnect the air hose to the actuator.
^ If operation is not as specified, replace the control valve assembly.
