Thermostat: Service and Repair

1. Obtain audio anti-theft code, if equipped, as outlined under Technician Safety Information, then disconnect battery ground cable.
2. Remove engine undercover and drain coolant.
3. On models with turbocharger, disconnect water inlet from water pump and remove thermostat.
4. On models less turbocharger, remove water inlet, lower radiator hose assembly, then the thermostat.
5. Reverse procedure to install. Reset audio coded anti-theft system, if equipped, as outlined under Technician Safety Information
