RATTLE NOISE FROM REAR WINDOW





To reduce the possibility of a rattle/creak noise from the rear window, TMM implemented a production process change to improve the seal between the rear window and the body. The amount of urethane in the area shown on the diagram, has been increased.

NOTE:
Only Camrys built at Plant 1 are affected.

FIELD-FIX:

Remove and reinstall the rear window following the procedures on Page BO-54 of the 1996 Camry Repair Manual (Publication No. RM445U).
