Fuel Pump: Description and Operation

PURPOSE
The Fuel Pump is used to provide a constant supply of high pressure fuel to the injectors.


OPERATION
Fuel pumped up by the Fuel Pump, flows through the fuel filter to the fuel rail where it is distributed to each injector at a set pressure maintained by the pressure regulator.
