Oil Pressure Sender: Testing and Inspection

INSPECT LOW OIL PRESSURE SWITCH OPERATION







1. Check that there is continuity between the terminal and ground with the engine stopped.
2. Check that there is no continuity between the terminal and ground with the engine running.


HINT: Oil pressure should be over 29 kPa (0.35 kgf/Sq.cm, 4.3 psi)

If operation is not as specified, replace the switch.
