Spark Plug: Service and Repair

1. REMOVE IGNITION COILS AND IGNITION CABLES FROM THE SPARK PLUGS.



- Using needle-nose pliers, disconnect the cord clamp from the engine wire protector.



- Disconnect the high - tension cords at the rubber boot.

NOTICE:
- Do not pull on the cords.
- Pulling on or bending the cords may damage the conductor inside.

- Disconnect the 3 ignition coil connectors.



- Remove the 3 bolts and 3 ignition coils from the LH cylinder head.

2. REMOVE SPARK PLUGS



- Using a 16 mm plug wrench, remove the 6 spark plugs from the RH and LH cylinder heads.

3. REINSTALL SPARK PLUGS
- Using a 16 mm plug wrench, install the 6 spark plugs to the RH and LH cylinder heads.

Torque: 18 Nm (180 kgf.cm, 13 ft.lb)

4. REINSTALL IGNITION COILS AND CABLES TO SPARK PLUGS
