Removal and Installation

REMOVAL

1. REMOVE BLOWER UNIT

2. DISCHARGE REFRIGERANT FORM REFRIGERATION SYSTEM

INSTALLATION HINT: Evacuate air from refrigeration system.

Charge system with refrigerant and inspect for leakage of refrigerant.

Specified amount: 850 ± 50 g (30.00 ± 1.76 oz.)





3. DISCONNECT LIQUID TUBE AND SUCTION TUBE
Remove the 2 bolts and both tubes.

Torque: 10 N.m (100 kgf.cm. 7 ft.lbf)

REMOVAL NOTICE: Cap the open fittings immediately to keep moisture or dirt out of the 8ystem. INSTALLATION HINT: Lubricate 2 new 0-rings with compressor oil and install the tubes.





4. REMOVE EVAPORATOR
(a) Remove the screw and pull out the thermistor.
(b) Remove the 5 screws and evaporator cover.
(c) Pull out the evaporator.





5. EXPANSION VALVE REMOVAL

Using a hexagon wrench, remove the 2 bolts and separate the evaporator and expansion valve.

Torque: 5.4 N.m (55 kgf.cm, 48 in.lbf)

INSTALLATION HINT:
- Lubricate the new 0-rings with compressor oil and install the tubes.
- If evaporator was replaced, add compressor oil to compressor.

Add 40 cc (1.4 fl.oz.)
Compressor oil: ND-OIL B or equivalent


INSTALLATION
Installation is in the reverse order of removal.
