EXHAUST PIPE PROTECTOR & CLAMP





Exhaust pipe protectors and clamps are now available as separate supply parts. Part numbers and installation instructions for these parts are provided as shown.

REPLACEMENT PROCEDURE:

Install protector so there is no noticeable gap or interference between exhaust pipe and protector.





1. Remove old protector by using chisel or similar tool as shown in Fig. 1, to separate and release clamp.





2. Install replacement clamps and bolts as shown in Fig. 2. Center bolt side of the clamp on right side of exhaust pipe. Insert bolt from below and tighten. Ensure bolt is torqued to specifications.

Torque: 100 kgf-cm (7 ft-lbs)
