Exhaust System: Service and Repair

REMOVAL
1. Remove the 2 bolts holding the support stay to the support bracket.
2. Remove the 2 bolts holding the support bracket to the front frame.
3. Remove the 2 bolts and 2 nuts holding the front exhaust pipe to the center exhaust pipe.
4. Remove the 4 nuts holding the front exhaust pipe to the exhaust manifolds.
5. Remove the front exhaust pipe and 3 gaskets.





INSTALLATION
1. Temporarily install 3 new gaskets and the front exhaust pipe with the 2 bolts and 6 nuts.
2. Tighten the 4 nuts holding the exhaust manifolds to the front exhaust pipe. Torque to 62 Nm (46 ft. lbs.)
3. Tighten the 2 bolts and 2 nuts holding the front exhaust pipe to the center exhaust pipe. Torque to 56 Nm (41 ft. lbs.)
4. Install the bracket with the 2 bolts. Torque to 33 Nm (24 ft. lbs.)
5. Install the support stay with the 2 bolts. Torque to 33 Nm (24 ft. lbs.)
