Fig. 11 LSPV Spring Removal:

1. Raise and support vehicle, then remove rear tires.
2. Remove strut rods two attaching nuts and bolts, then strut rod, Fig. 15.
3. On models with ABS, disconnect LSPV spring from lower arm Fig. 11.
4. Remove No. 2 lower suspension arm attaching nuts, then suspension arm.
5. Remove stabilizer bar bushing retainer, then exhaust center and tail pipe.
6. Support suspension member with a suitable jack, remove six nuts, then left and right suspension member lower stopper.
7. Lower suspension member, remove No. 1 lower suspension arm attaching bolts, then suspension arm.
8. Reverse procedure to install, tighten nuts and bolts to specifications.
