Clearing Trouble Codes

1. The diagnostic trouble code(s) retained in memory may be canceled out by removing the "EFI" fuse for 10 seconds or more, with the ignition switch OFF.
2. Check that the NORMAL code is output after re-installing the fuse.
3. Road test the vehicle, then re-check to confirm a NORMAL code is output.
4. If the same diagnostic trouble code is output, it indicates that the problem was not adequately repaired.
