Crankshaft Position Sensor: Service and Repair

1. REMOVE NEGATIVE CABLE TERMINAL FROM THE BATTERY.
2. REMOVE GENERATOR (ALTERNATOR).
3. DISCONNECT CRANKSHAFT POSITION SENSOR CONNECTOR



- Disconnect the sensor connector from the bracket.
- Disconnect the sensor connector from the wiring connector.

4. REMOVE CRANKSHAFT POSITION SENSOR



- Disconnect the wire clamp from the cylinder block.
- Remove the bolt and crankshaft position sensor.

Installation Torque: 8.8 N.m (78 in.lb)
