DTC 24 Intake Air Temp. Sensor Circuit

CIRCUIT DESCRIPTION
The intake air temperature sensor is built into the volume air flow meter and senses the intake air temperature.
If the engine control module (ECM) records the diagnostic trouble code DTC 24, it operates the fail safe function in which the intake air temperature is assumed to be 20°C (68°F).

DIAGNOSTIC TROUBLE CODE DETECTING CONDITION
- Open or short in intake air temperature sensor circuit for 0.5 seconds or more.

TROUBLE AREA
- Open or short in intake air temperature sensor circuit.
- Intake air temperature sensor.
- ECM.
