Removal and Installation
1. Raise and support rear of vehicle, disconnect brake caliper and secure aside with wire.2. Disconnect ABS speed sensor and wire harness.
3. Remove axle shaft, then the No. 1 suspension arm-to-axle carrier attaching nut.
4. Remove suspension arm No. 1 tie rod end from axle carrier, then disconnect parking brake cable.
5. Scribe reference marks between suspension arm No. 1 adjusting cam and crossmember, then remove arm pivot nut, bolt, cams and arm.
6. Remove suspension arm No. 2 to axle carrier attaching nut and bolt, then disconnect arm from carrier.
7. Scribe reference marks between suspension arm No. 2 adjusting cam and crossmember, then remove arm pivot nut, bolt, cams and arm.
8. Reverse procedure to install. Prior to tightening attaching parts, lower vehicle to ground and bounce vehicle several times to stabilize suspension. Tighten No. 1 suspension arm-to-axle carrier attaching nut, suspension arms-to-crossmember attaching nuts and suspension arm-to-axle carrier attaching nuts to specifications.
