1. Raise and support vehicle, remove lower engine cover and brake caliper, then secure caliper aside with wire.
2. Disconnect stabilizer bar link from lower suspension arm, Fig. 6.
3. Remove lower ball joint locknut, then using suitable puller, disconnect ball joint from steering knuckle.
4. Remove shock absorber-to-lower suspension arm attaching nut and bolt, then disconnect shock absorber from arm.
5. Make reference marks between lower suspension arm alignment cams and their mounting surfaces, then remove nuts, alignment cams, bolts and suspension arm.
6. Reverse procedure to install, noting the following:
a. Tighten lower suspension arm-to-ball joint attaching nuts and bolts to specification.
b. Install lower suspension arm. Do not tighten alignment cams at this time.
c. When installing ball joint to steering knuckle, install conventional nut first and tighten to specification, then install locking nut and tighten to specification.
d. Tighten shock absorber lower mounting nut and bolt, stabilizer link attaching nut to specification.
e. Lower vehicle and allow the weight to rest on suspension. Bounce vehicle several times to settle suspension, then align marks made on cams. Tighten adjusting cam nuts to specification with vehicle weight on suspension.
