1992 RADIO "TAPE" & "CD" BUTTON ILLUMINATION LOGIC CHANGE


The "TAPE" and/or "CD" buttons on '92 radios are designed so they will illuminate only when these modes of operation are functioning (parking/ headlights "ON").





If a Cassette or CD is not inserted and the Parking/Headlights are "ON", the "TAPE" or "CD" buttons do not illuminate. However, the Cassette or CD door, and AM/FM button are illuminated.





When a cassette is inserted with the Parking/Headlights "ON", the cassette door light goes out and the "TAPE" button illuminates.





When a CD disc is inserted with the Parking/Headlights "ON", the CD door goes out and the "CD" button illuminates.
