Idle Speed/Throttle Actuator - Mechanical: Adjustments

1. Warm the engine up to normal operating temperature.
2. Check the idle speed.
3. Disconnect and plug the vacuum hose to the throttle opener.

Checking The Throttle Opener Setting Speed:

4. Maintain the engine at 2,500 rpm and release the throttle valve.
5. Check that the throttle opener is set to 1,300 - 1,500 rpm with the cooling fan OFF.
6. If necessary, adjust the throttle opener setting speed by turning the throttle opener adjusting screw.

7. Reconnect the vacuum hose to the throttle opener.
