Clearing Diagnostic Trouble Codes

Fig. 123 Stop Fuse Location:

1. Repair the mechanical malfunction as specified by the appropriate diagnostic code(s).
2. With the ignition switch OFF, remove the STOP fuse (20 A) from the fuse panel located behind driver side kick panel, Fig. 123, for at least 10 seconds.
3. Reinstall the STOP fuse and road test the vehicle.
4. If codes reset, it indicates that the trouble area has not been thoroughly repaired.
