Mixture Control Solenoid - Slow Cut: Description and Operation
Fuel Cut Deceleration System Schematic:
Fuel Cut Deceleration System Operations Chart:
The Fuel-cut Solenoid is mounted on the carburetor and is activated by the Electronic Control Unit (ECU) during engine deceleration. Part of the fuel to the carburetor slow circuit is cut-off by grounding the ECU terminal FCS. The ECU control is based on input from the throttle position switch and the engine rpm signal. For information on the ECU controlled part of this system, refer to COMPUTERIZED ENGINE CONTROLS.
