Pistons are available in standard and oversize of .050 inch. If piston bore is not within specifications, replace piston and/or cylinder block. When assembling piston onto connecting rod, ensure mark on top of piston and mark on connecting rod are on same side, Fig. 22. When installing piston and connecting rod assembly, ensure mark on top of piston is facing toward front of engine.
