TITLE A14#E VALVE BODY STRAINER


When replacing the Valve Body Strainer (P/N 35330-20011) on vehicles equipped with the A14#E A/TM you may encounter contact between the strainer and the number 1 shift solenoid mounting bolt for (see illustration). This condition does not affect models A130L, A131L, A132L & A140L (non-ECT A/TM) to which the modified valve body strainer also applies.



In order to reduce the contact between the solenoid mounting bolt and the strainer, the head of bolt must be positioned as shown below.
NOTE: A production change to the valve body strainer will be made shortly to eliminate this condition.
