REPLACEMENT OF SIDE GEAR SHAFT OIL SEAL
1. REMOVE BOTH DRIVE SHAFTS




2. REMOVE LEFT SIDE GEAR SHAFT OIL SEAL Using SST, pull out the oil seal.
SST 09308-00010




3. (A540H) REMOVE RIGHT SIDE GEAR SHAFT OIL SEAL
Using a screwdriver, remove the oil seal




4. INSTALL LEFT SIDE GEAR SHAFT OIL SEAL
a. Using SST, drive in a new oil seal.
SST 09608-30022 (09608-05010, 09608-32010)

Oil seal depth: 0 ± 0.5 mm (0 ± 0.02 in.)

b. Coat the lip of oil seal with MP grease.




5. (A540H) INSTALL RIGHT SIDE GEAR SHAFT OIL SEAL
a. Coat the lip of oil seal with MP grease.
b. Using SST, drive in a new oil seal.
SST 09608-30022 (09608-05010, 09608-32010)

Oil seal depth: 0 ± 0.3 mm (0.012 in.)

6. INSTALL BOTH DRIVE SHAFTS
7. CHECK TRANSAXLE FLUID LEVEL
