Subject: "Using the Toyota Flat Rate Manual" Video
In response to requests by Toyota dealers, the TMS Warranty Department is pleased to provide a copy of "Using the Toyota Flat Rate Manual video to all Toyota dealers. Accompanying the video is also a Leader's Guide explaining suggested viewing of the video.
The video provides an explanation of the following topics.
^ General organization of the Flat Rate Manual.
^ Selection of the appropriate manual for claim preparation.
^ Explanation of standard operation codes, combination codes, "others" or "99" operation codes and "Z" combination code.
Additionally, a quiz is provided at the end of the video to test and reinforce the concepts presented by the video.
Viewing of the video by service department personnel (Service Managers, Assistant Service Managers and Warranty Administration) will explain the importance of accurate use of the Flat Rate Manual in requesting and obtaining dealer reimbursements for warranty repairs.
