SUBJECT: WARRANTY CLAIM PROCEDURES FOR FLOOR MATS

The following guidelines should be used when preparing warranty claims for floor mats. Floor mats are warranted under Toyota's 36 months/36,000 miles comprehensive warranty.

OPERATION CODE DESCRIPTION LABOR
743991 Replacement of 2, 3 or 4 mats 0.1

Condition/Cause/Remedy Text: Describe the condition of the floor mats in detail.

Original Part Number: Floor mat part numbers are formatted as follows:
00206-XXXXX-XX 00208-XXXXX-XX

The first five digits indicate the manufacturer of the floor mats and the last two digits are the color code. When submitting a warranty claim never use the 00200-XXXXX-XX part number as the original part number. The 00200-XXXXX-XX part numbers may be used as a replacement part number. The part number stamped on the lower midsection of the back of each floor mat should be used as the original part number when submitting warranty claims. Only the first ten digits of the part number will be provided on the back of the floor mat. The two digit color code must be determined by your dealership and added to the base 10 digits to create a 12 digit part number when the claim is submitted. The following are valid color codes:
Please note that replacement of mats as a result of normal wear and tear or deterioration is not warranted.
