SUBJECT: AUTHORIZED REMOVAL OF WARRANTY PARTS FROM DEALERSHIP PARTS STORAGE


Attached for your use, please find the Authorized Removal of Warranty Parts from Dealership form. This form is to be completed and retained at your dealership, as explained on the form, whenever a Regional/Private Distributor representative removes warranty parts from your dealership for evaluation or training purposes. Failure to file this form as instructed may result in the paid warranty claim being debited if the requested part cannot be located and a copy of the attached form has not been retained.

INSTRUCTIONS FOR DEALERSHIP PERSONNEL

Make photocopies of this form and proceed as follows:

^ One copy to be attached to parts bin from which the parts mare removed. Appropriate parts bin: Last digit of R.O. Number.

^ One copy to be attached to Dealer Parts Return Summary Sheet if at a later date the parts for the above indicated claim are requested by TMS-USA under the Dealer Parts Return Program (Blue Tag Program).

OR

^ One copy to be attached to District Service Manager's Summary Sheet if at a later date the above indicated claim is listed on the DSM summary Sheet (Pink Tag Program).

^ One copy to be retained by the dealership with Section 2A, Settled Claims, of the 10206 Report. This is your proof that the parts were removed by authorized Region/Private Distributor personnel.
